"Jumping In"

"Jumping In", Oil on canvas, 20" x 20", Available

Woohoo! "Jumping In" is meant to evoke that fantastically fun feeling of being a kid again and doing a crazy jump into some beautiful blue water.

In case you're wondering, the lake featured in this painting is Fallen Leaf Lake near Lake Tahoe, California. The dock belongs to our dear friends Charlie and Elizabeth M. Thanks, Charlie and Elizabeth, for sharing your wonderful place at Fallen Leaf Lake with us!

Holly, You inspire me with your ability to move back and forth between non-objective and naturalistic art! Thanks for showing the detail! Just makes you feel like joining in!

I like the perspective and the whole painting for that matter. I do have sympathy for those poor kids needing to hang like that for the hours it must have taken for a 20 x 20 painting.

How is the day job?

Holly I love this painting - it reminds me of a recurring dream I used to have...I want to have that dream again...

This reminds me of where I used to go swimming as a kid in Norway. It has a real good mood feeling about it. Brought a smile to my face!
